Draw Your Line is back! Our next event is:

LEADERSHIP AND ARTISTRY

What does it mean to lead? How do you respond creatively and embrace change so you can inhabit a new level of leadership and artistry in your work?

This workshop is designed to ignite your imagination and your spirit of play. We will use simple drawing activities (some traditional, some unconventional) as a way of exploring the discipline of presence in action, and of consciously deepening one’s spiritual practice and self-expression.

While you will learn some basic drawing techniques, our focus is less on the question of how to draw, and more on how to make a mark in the world. The purpose is to uncover your innate artistry so you can step into greater leadership of yourself and others with compassion and courage, and so your work can create a more meaningful impact in the world.

WHAT WE'LL DO

1. We’ll start by briefly introducing themes for the workshop and set intentions.
2. Michael will present on various aspects of the artistic process while teaching a specific drawing technique.
3. Period of drawing practice.
4. The final stage will debrief the activity and share what arose around themes of artistry and self-expression, as well as the implications for leadership and personal growth.

WHAT TO BRING

Just yourselves and your enthusiasm! We'll provide the drawing materials, but feel free to bring your own sketchbook or whatever you prefer for drawing in. Bring whatever you need for your own comfort.

SAFE SPACE

Sharing about our experiences involves sharing our belief systems. This can sometimes bring up difficult emotions. I have passion and heart for creating a safe space for people to find their voice, to express their truth.

FEE

$10 helps us cover our expenses, which include space rental, MeetUp processing fees and material costs.
